Pediatric Ophthalmologic Screening for Primary Care (Audio Only)

In this lecture, Dr. Weaver discusses primary care for pediatric ophthalmologic screening. Learning Objectives: Grievance Policy:All grievances should be in writing and should specify the nature of the grievance.  Initially, all grievances should be directed to MAOPS Executive Director, who will then forward said grievance to the Education & Convention Committee.  All grievances will receive an initial response in writing within 30 days of receipt.  If the participant does not receive a satisfactory response, then they can then submit a complaint in writing to the Bureau of Osteopathic Education of the AOA at 142 East Ontario Street, Chicago, IL 60611.

  2. Understand methods that enhance the accuracy of visual acuity screening.
  3. Appreciate new technologies that can identify signs of potential vision problems.

Daniel Weaver MD is a Pediatric Ophthalmologist practicing at Billings Clinic in Billings, Montana. Dr. Weaver received his medical degree from Case Western Reserve University, in Cleveland, Ohio, and residency at Mayo Clinic, in Rochester, Minnesota. He went on to complete a fellowship in Pediatric Ophthalmology at Wills Eye Hospital, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Ophthalmology. Dr. Weaver is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus, Montana Medical Association and Montana Academy of Ophthalmology. He joined Billings Clinic in 1992.
