Introduce the audience to the need for DM2 prevention.
Review the criteria for pre-diabetes.
Introduce the DPP (Diabetes Prevention Program) and the Oregon Health Authority/OMA Steering Toward Health program that uses the DPP.
Improve patient outcomes through use of the DPP for patients who qualify.
